beautiful warrior

Stylish Chicagoans celebrated eDrop-Off‘s 10th Anniversary in collaboration with the pop-up shop launch party for Silhouette, a fragrance by Christian Siriano, hosted by the designer and eDrop-Off founder Corri McFadden at Chicago’s famed Waldorf Astoria.  Along with fragrance and clothing sales, the event featured models wearing gowns by Siriano, a quick-change into looks from The Collection by eDrop-Off, the newly launched retail concept by the designer consignment store, and hair designed by yours truly.

The inspiration behind the hair was to create a strong, but feminine, look to offset the couture gowns that the models were wearing the first half of the evening.  The mohawk silhouette accentuated the models’ features, while the braids maintained a air of softness to ultimately create the ‘warrior princess’ look that you see below.

The second half of the event, the models changed into ready-to-wear looks from The Collection by eDrop-Off, and I switched up the hair by incorporating wigs of bobs in varying lengths to give the looks a more street style appeal.

Chiara from The Blonde Salad

Fashion Bloggers Chiara Ferragni from The Blonde Salad and Shea Marie from Cheyenne Meet Chanel stopped while they were in Chicago to get some TLC on their tresses from yours truly. Both girls are beautiful and were a pleasure to work with… I hope to see them again soon!
